I just got my first few subscribers ever, and it feels AWESOME. To me it's a way to reaffirm that my content is worth reading. Who knows, one of these people might write me an email one day and tell me what they want posted next. Isn't it an awesome way to improve your content? :)
So yeah, if you think you have enough content to send someone an update every week, don't hesitate to add an email subscription feature to your site. Email subscription has been proven to be one of the best ways to convert and retain your audience, if used correctly. And I believe there is enough training available here in WA to get you started :)
