Google, where did you go?

A couple of weeks ago, I shared my excitement that my site had ranked with Google, initially on page one, position six and then on page one, position one! Whoa, and in two months time. I was thrilled! I was also excited that I was ranking on page one with Bing and Yahoo. Life was feeling pretty glorious!

Then, it happened. Google left me and he took his friends Bing and Yahoo with him.

So now my site is feeling pretty lonely with its unranked status, and I am back to tweaking and working hard on adding compelling content. That's okay though; I understand it is all part of building an affiliate business and look forward to seeing my elusive friend Google again, and hopefully he will bring his friends Bing and Yahoo with him.

Ya'll have a great weekend!

Stay strong!

Thank you:)

It does have a tendency to bounce around some but sounds like you are handling it good by tweaking it and not giving up

Thanks, Melissa. Yes, it's all good just have to keep figuring out what works.

you are welcome

Not the end of the world

Definitely not the end of the world. I will see Google again:)

Great way to look at it, just keep working. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks, James. Yep! Gonna keep on keeping on.

get a rope and tie it down

Hi, Jerry. Wish it was that easy:)

We have to GIGGLE at GOOGLE I guess!

Wayne

Yep. Google makes me smile:)

A good place to be, if you can smile at it all Gina!

Well done you!

Have a great one!

Yes, the Google roller coaster ride is sometimes frustrating. I have a website that has been around for four years and here is the past 30 day results. Yes, it looks like the stock market! LOL

Wow! That is something else. Never considered how much a site could bounce around. Thanks for the insight, Howard.

It's a constant quest Gina. But that's a good thing!

Thanks so much, Mike. Yes, I am learning it is a constant. If I'm not working on my site, I am writing content or trying to finish a level. #busylife

Yup, site ranking is dynamic.
As you said, more important is to fill it up with more content and you should see it ranking again.

Keep it rolling..

:)
Joe

Thanks so much, Joe. Gotta love writing more content:)

Especially with new websites, and their post, the articles flucuate wildly. As the article gets some age on it, the search engines are more likely to figure out where they want it to rest and leave it alone.

Thanks for the info. That makes me feel more confident:)
