Who do I want to be during COVID-19?
Hi WA community, lock down has brought a few things out in us. In which zone do you want to be?
FEAR ZONE
Hoard food, toilet paper & medicines you don’t need.
Complain all the time.
Transmit anger and fear related emotions to others.
Forward all messages to others.
LEARNING ZONE
Stop compulsively consuming things that harm you, from food to news.
Start letting go of things that are out of your control.
Identify your emotions.
Make yourself aware of the situation and think about the best way to act.
Verify information before you share it.
Acknowledge everyone is trying their best.
GROWTH ZONE
Find a purpose.
Think of how you can help others.
Use your skills to service the ones in need.
Show empathy to yourself and others.
Live in the present and focus on the future.
Keep yourself emotionally happy and transmit hope.
Show gratefulness.
Find ways to adapt to changes.
Practice calmness, patience, relationships and creativity.
CONCLUSION
I think I prefer the growth zone.

It has always been a challenge and ignorance for others to "verify information before sharing" which led to damage to relationships mostly, I like your post

I definitely prefer the growth zone. I was never in the fear zone, since I have been trying to stay away from “bad” news.
