What Affiliate Program Should I Join?

That's question I usually hear and see and I usually respond or say that it should be organic. I feel I should elaborate on this. I live in NYC I don't own a car and I love taking mass transit. When I don't I have Uber, Lyft and Juno (it's new a Lyft driver I met who works for all 3 sent me an invitation code for Juno in order to get in). I created an Uber account and they gave me $30 I believe I can't remember how much but I believe now they give you 1 or 2 free rides. I referred my contact list via my phone telling them what I got from Uber and that if they signed up they'd receive the same. Everytime someone signed up I got an incentive from Uber either in the way of a free rider or $$ in my Uber account. I then set up a Lyft account they gave me $50 ($10 per ride up to 5 rides). I shared through the app my contacts or referred my contacts whichever wording you prefer I repeated the same process as I did with Uber and ChaChing Lyft gave me $10 - $20 for each referred. While on one of my "free cab rides" on Lyft a driver invited me to Juno which has a promotion where you get 35% off your ride anywhere in NYC. I can't find a way to share Juno, at least not yet so I don't really use it as I can still use my Uber and Lyft. Every now and then when I'm using Lyft or Uber to go somewhere I will hit that share button and share it to one or two of my "Promote Your" Facebook groups.

New Users for LYFT can get $55 in Lyft Credit if they use promo code WELCOME55. To earn as an affiliate with Lyft you have to become a Lyft Ambassador if approved you can earn $10 per passenger referral and up to $750 for each driver referral (that's why your probably receiving at least an e-mail a day regarding Driving from Uber or Lyft from spam or some group you signed up for).

Recently I noticed a lot of my friends raving and recommending Blue Apron. Thanksgiving family members were talking Blue Apron this and Blue Apron that. I recently saw a commercial by a company named Ollie which is like Blue Apron for dogs. I believe it's $7 a day or something. Now I don't own a dog or a dog niche site so Ollie didn't really interest me. But Blue Apron on the other hand . . . so what I did was I googled Blue Apron Affiliate Program. In my research I found out that people have been requesting they start an affiliate program since 2014 so they eventually they started one. Its probably hard to get into and I don't have a site that it would fit into and it's not a product I use. But if 1 of those things applied my next step would have been to google Blue Apron vs to see who their competition was and then google Plated affiliate program and Health Fresh Affiliate Program. A lot of us already use products and services that have affiliate programs Netflix, Hulu, Target, Amazon, your cable companies, some of these new send cash to smartphone apps.

So next time you see that Share button after you purchase something from your favorite brand or company. Look into whether they have incentive programs for referring others. Most of them do. I hope this post helps
