My 1st WA Blog - What A Journey

The Search

During my recovery period I had been searching YouTube for different meditations, diet plans and motivation videos. Many of the video's had ads pop up about affiliate marketing. Initially, I paid little heed to these as my goal was to get well. But, as the months passed and my energy increased, I began to look more seriously into the possibility of working online, even though my computer skills were limited to sending the odd email and google searching.

What I Found

The very 1st platform I joined was The SFM (six figure mentors). They had hours and hours of videos talking about the person you need to become in order to succeed, and only minutes of value regarding actually making money. The thing is, if I wanted a wellness program I'd have joined one. Their monthly price was $297 - the return - BS, which is free and plentiful in the field beside us, lol.

Prosperity of Life came to our attention and seemed very promising but, after a few short weeks we discovered it was a well-designed pyramid scheme 😠. That's all the time I'll give that.
The next venture was the One Funnel Away Challenge (click funnels) which was priced at $100. Huge value to be had in this training but, about half-way through I realized that a website and social media presence was essential for the success of your funnel. Unless, of course, you had the money to throw at advertising or, your own product to sell, which was not the case at that time. Thus, the funnel was left to one side, for a while :)
Though our direction kept 'changing', or so we thought, we kept on doing the next thing we thought was right. Giving up wasn't an option. We (with my beautiful wife Siobhan) purchased the KBB (knowledge business blueprint) last September, more huge value and connections but, it was missing something. We needed to join all this new information together, but how?
At this point Franklin Hatchet came to our attention, with the promise of teaching how to build a website. Definitely a genuine guy but, his training were difficult to follow and a little 'scattered'. Priced at $297 I guess it wasn't a waste, as I did learn to create a website.
At a later date It is my intention to write a detailed review on each platform I have experienced.

Then Came WA 😊

After almost 12 months my faith began to dwindle, as did our finances. All these promises came up empty, or so I thought, until WA came to the rescue. Within weeks premium membership was paid and the road ahead looked bright once again.
We are sooo grateful to Kyle and Carson for creating this platform. The training's are plentiful, clear and concise. The community spirit and willingness to help each other are beyond words, simply amazing. Thank you, all of you.
Since joining WA my wife and I have built two websites, learned how to blog, created a FB page, created a Chronic Fatigue pacing workbook, a Mental Health 1st Aid book, created a funnel, joined Business Networking International, and made many connections worldwide with like-minded people. People like Steve Costello (ExGro) here at WA, and Tony Robbins speaking team, have boosted our confidence and helped us stay on track and for that we will be eternally grateful.
Finally it is all coming together :)

To Conclude

The past 18 months has been an amazing journey, a journey where we were tested by the universe. There were times when giving up seemed like an option, like success would never be, like the world was sabotaging our efforts but, despite the challenges, we kept going. All our 'failures' were but learning curves on the way to success.
Go after your dreams with a calm, positive attitude, ask questions, take action on what you learn here at WA, and above all, NEVER EVER give up.
Yesterday, we made our 1st sale 🙏 after almost 18 months.
