My 1st WA Blog - What A Journey
Hi all :). Finally, levels 1 and 2 are complete, this short blog being the final step before I move forth to level 3. What a journey to date.
My Journey
About 18 months ago I began to search online for ways to earn money that didn't involve hard physical labor. Being a builder/plasterer for almost 30 years, and having to quit due to illness, I decided it was time for change. But what would I do?
The Search
During my recovery period I had been searching YouTube for different meditations, diet plans and motivation videos. Many of the video's had ads pop up about affiliate marketing. Initially, I paid little heed to these as my goal was to get well. But, as the months passed and my energy increased, I began to look more seriously into the possibility of working online, even though my computer skills were limited to sending the odd email and google searching.
What I Found
The very 1st platform I joined was The SFM (six figure mentors). They had hours and hours of videos talking about the person you need to become in order to succeed, and only minutes of value regarding actually making money. The thing is, if I wanted a wellness program I'd have joined one. Their monthly price was $297 - the return - BS, which is free and plentiful in the field beside us, lol.
Prosperity of Life came to our attention and seemed very promising but, after a few short weeks we discovered it was a well-designed pyramid scheme 😠. That's all the time I'll give that.
The next venture was the One Funnel Away Challenge (click funnels) which was priced at $100. Huge value to be had in this training but, about half-way through I realized that a website and social media presence was essential for the success of your funnel. Unless, of course, you had the money to throw at advertising or, your own product to sell, which was not the case at that time. Thus, the funnel was left to one side, for a while :)
Though our direction kept 'changing', or so we thought, we kept on doing the next thing we thought was right. Giving up wasn't an option. We (with my beautiful wife Siobhan) purchased the KBB (knowledge business blueprint) last September, more huge value and connections but, it was missing something. We needed to join all this new information together, but how?
At this point Franklin Hatchet came to our attention, with the promise of teaching how to build a website. Definitely a genuine guy but, his training were difficult to follow and a little 'scattered'. Priced at $297 I guess it wasn't a waste, as I did learn to create a website.
At a later date It is my intention to write a detailed review on each platform I have experienced.
Then Came WA 😊
After almost 12 months my faith began to dwindle, as did our finances. All these promises came up empty, or so I thought, until WA came to the rescue. Within weeks premium membership was paid and the road ahead looked bright once again.We are sooo grateful to Kyle and Carson for creating this platform. The training's are plentiful, clear and concise. The community spirit and willingness to help each other are beyond words, simply amazing. Thank you, all of you.
Since joining WA my wife and I have built two websites, learned how to blog, created a FB page, created a Chronic Fatigue pacing workbook, a Mental Health 1st Aid book, created a funnel, joined Business Networking International, and made many connections worldwide with like-minded people. People like Steve Costello (ExGro) here at WA, and Tony Robbins speaking team, have boosted our confidence and helped us stay on track and for that we will be eternally grateful.
Finally it is all coming together :)
To Conclude
The past 18 months has been an amazing journey, a journey where we were tested by the universe. There were times when giving up seemed like an option, like success would never be, like the world was sabotaging our efforts but, despite the challenges, we kept going. All our 'failures' were but learning curves on the way to success.Go after your dreams with a calm, positive attitude, ask questions, take action on what you learn here at WA, and above all, NEVER EVER give up.
Yesterday, we made our 1st sale 🙏 after almost 18 months.

Hi Evelyn. Very kind of you to stop by and read my experience to date. ‘You have inspired’ me, too :). Reading those words are encouraging.
Writing takes me forever, though I’m loving it. 😆 Great to hear you are determined to continue on this journey. Tony Robbins said that most of us over-estimate what we can do in a year and under-estimate what we can do in 10.
By the end of June WA bootcamp is on the cards for me too :) We’re in it for the long hall.

Thank you Ger! You know I am with you . . . . I don’t rush writing articles anymore like I did in the beginning to make progress and finish the training. I was anxious to finish the training. I have been catching up with learnings I missed in the past. I am caught up a bit. Now I have to think how i will go about each article and I write as things pop into my head. So I am slow myself when writing an article. BTW, I have been to one of Tony Robbins energizing events many years ago. He has a unique way of energizing his audience.

Good morning, Evelyn, thank you for your encouragement. My biggest issue is perfection. Thinking and re-thinking things but, I’m coming around. My writing skills stopped at the age of 12 or 13 so I make plenty of grammar mistakes 😆.
My wife and I applied to become part of Tony Robbins speaking team 6months ago after we finished his course, but we didn’t cut it. BUT, we did get in with the people he chose - Generation Impact. Check them out Evelyn, they have sooo much value for free. It all helps take us to our goals.

Ok, thank you for sharing the info and it is free! It makes it even better. The event that I attended before with my husband, we had to pay. Then we also bought a set of tapes on self and confidence development that Tony Robbins produced. Something like that. I have to dig out the tapes to get the correct title.
What you mentioned sounds like a coaching program? Is it? Anyway I will check it out. Again, thank you so kindly for sharing information. I am very grateful!

Yes, Evelyn, they are coaches - Shane, David and Sandra. They each have different styles and have lots of ‘free‘ tips on their fb page - they also have a paid fb group for those who can afford it (maybe someday soon).
David has some great tips on writing, and how to choose our ideal client - free 😃. Has to be said though, it’s hard to beat WA for value. I’m just looking for everything and anything to give us a boost, we’ve been through the mill and back. Time for change.
The KBB course we purchased included ‘the ultimate edge’ TR, wow stuff, I cant imagine what a live event is like.

Hi Sophie 😅 I must add that we have no affiliate with these guys, but my wife is very active in the group. They held a competition and Siobhan won a coaching call about 1month ago 🙂. The universe supplied this when our spirits were low, and those 60 minutes gave us the direction we needed :)

Great news bout that first sale.
I think many of us have had similar experiences of trying other systems and MMO products. It’s nice to find a proven system that works and a support network that’s always in your corner when needed.
