Success is a journey
Hello everyone out there, this' some thing I found very interesting some where in one of the articles I was reading. and It's a real life aspects.
Take a look at it. You can do something ordinary people do in an extra ordinarily way and make such huge difference in your BUSINESS and life at large.
Here is an article that proves true with this statement;
Here is the article:
"There is a belief that if you can learn exactly how successful people do something than you can replicate that success by doing the exact same thing. That is how “gurus” become so successful.
People are willing to pay to hear their secrets to success.
The thing is, a lot of these “secrets to success” aren’t really secrets. They are closer to common sense.
The problem is not everyone realizes they aren’t doing them…or people are in such a habit doing the opposite that they have a hard time re-adjusting their goals, perspective, and actions.
Think about how it applies to your life. Reflect on your behaviors and interactions with others to see if your behavior is aligned with these things. If you realize you are not really applying these thoughts to your life, you can make the conscious decision and effort to change the way you think and behave.
As a side note, in addition to the three things listed below, successful people also recognize the need for constantly learning and reflection. In order to stay successful, you can’t become content with the status quo.
You can be content in life, but you should also have a constant yearning for improvement.
1. Try to change other people. Success people understand that it
is impossible to change other people. No one changes unless they
want to change. You can't control other people. You can however
control the things related to other people. You can control the way you
respond to other people, and you can change the people you choose
to be around.
There is a saying in sales “If you can’t change your team, change
your team.” The meaning of this saying is simple…if you can’t
motivate the people you are working with work at the level needed
to achieve success as a team, than you need to change the people
you are working with. This isn’t to say you should get rid of
people that don’t perform to your standards. However, if someone
is unwilling to try, unwilling to learn, or unwilling to admit
there is room for improvement…you can’t change those things.
2. Waste time on things that don’t work. Successful people recognize
the difference between what is working and what isn’t. They focus on
what works and let go of what doesn’t.
This can apply to an idea, method, or even pattern of thinking.
If you find yourself doing the same thing over and over again,
and things never seem to work out, you need to look at both your
behaviors and your thought patterns to figure out what isn’t working.
3. Choose short term pleasure over long term benefits. People who
have found great success have worked hard for it. They have spent
many nights replacing sleep with more work. They have worked
multiple jobs in order to support themselves and their dreams
simultaneously. They have lived off Ramon noodles when they needed
to. A quick internet search will reveal dozens of stories of how
really successful people worked their way to success and all the
sacrifices they made along the way.
There is no shortcut to success."
Walk the route of success with absolute patience mind, doing what is right.
