First Step to My Blog
Hello Friends,
Finally I am ready!
Steps taken till now:-
- I have been able to select my niche after a number of brainstorming sessions. My niche is not a narrow one but is quite broad. However, using this niche I think I will be able to maintain my enthusiasm for much longer period and will be able to contribute more on a weekly basis
- Zeroed down on 3 domain names and finally was able to get one of them!
- I have purchased my own domain after searching various domain providers. Shortlisted a few based on their uptime, after sell service and last but not least! THE PRICE.
- Did not, however, purchase SSL from them but got my SSL activated.from another party.
- Then I have researched using Jaaxy and selected a few long tail keywords for the meta description.
- Already attached my domain to WA by changing the DNS servers addresses from my domain name registrar's to WA's. Now need to wait for the same to propagate.
My next step is to launch the site. Which will happen in next few hours.
There's no hold back now.
Online world... here I come.

wealthy affiliate offers free SSL certificate. Anyways it looks like you didn't use wealthy affiliate for your site hosting. So my tip for you is to ass W3 total cache to improve your site speed(important parameter in google rankings)

I have just now attached my domain to WA. It will need some time to propagate.
Free SSL is for the people who buy domains from WA. Please let me know if I am wrong
However, Jason, I fail to understand how are you saying that it looks like I didn't use Wealthy affiliates for my site hosting? How can you conclude without even knowing my domain name and URL?
I will use W3 total cache when I publish my site. But thanks for your this advice.

Oh, alright. Sorry for that. Yeah I didn't checked before pressing enter so I'm sorry. However if you have wealtht affiliate, they have site speed on so I guess no need for w3 total cache.
