Elaborating on an area I use to take for granted using essential oils for comfort. Found when my Husband was ill I was able to use my past experience in helping him and now reflecting looking at essential oils in a different aspect . I was able to use Ginger Oil which helped my husbands nausea and digestive discomfort and my husband applied himself messaging the Ginger oil mixed with Avacado oil as a carrier and applied to stomach area and abdomen. He reported it help alot. He also used Lavender and Frakensence Oil and messaged his neck, shoulders and back and feet. Found to my surprise it helped him rest more comfortable with less anxiety.. He did not need the pain medication as often and he was able to sleep much better at night. Used the oils which are made from plants and herbs distillled and some cold pressed. Fragrance predominate and do not know for sure if the fragrance or the Messaging on the skin provided the desired results, but probably both. I am impressed and using myself. Found that Myrrh can help prevent Sun burn. In the past recommended Essential oils to patients and families. Reported they helped with muscle pain, generalized discomfort, but not until I used myself was I impressed with the results. WA community would appreciate feed back. Appreciate GDreier

I have used essential oils quite a lot, and found Ginger worked well for inflammatory conditions, and for stomach/digestive problems. Orange oil is a good mood uplifter, and lavender oil on the pillow, makes a good night's sleep. I used calendula oil for dry skin and inflamed skin, where the skin has broken, and it soothes and seems to heal quite quickly.
I think you would have a good niche here with essential oils, as there are so many uses, but also just burning essential oils in the form of an oil burner, is very popular to make a room smell pleasant.
regards, Lisa

I must try this, even though I am not in any physical pain, I'm sure it will be good for my body and may be as a preventative?

Thank you for your comment Some of the oils provide relaxation and at this moment thinking of Lavender.. Spearmint is another that may help relax at night; The fragrance alone I believe can relax. Had a patient once tell me he puts a few drops of Spearmint oil under his nose and sleeps like a baby. Do not know , but may try myself
