Niches! Arrrgh!
I joined WA a week ago and ever since, I have chewed over idea after idea on what my niche could be. I've been working through the helpful WA training videos and making pages of notes but I'm still really struggling to find a niche. I have many interests but I'm worried that I don't know enough about one particular subject to be able to produce a quality, informative and hopefully profitable site.
I'm learning to speak Italian at the moment. I have a passion for all things Italian; food, art, football, architecture, language, etc and have thought about building a site based around 'Italy' as an entity but again, I'm worried that I'm trying to sprint before I can walk by making my site too broad. I've done a bit of research into similar sites and it's mindblowing how much work would be involved (not that I'm averse to hard work) but worry that I will be spending the next two years researching and creating content before I can even think about affiliating with sites within this niche.
Can anyone offer any advise as how to focus on a specific area of my interest? Or, does anyone out there have any thoughts about how I can go about creating some unique content around a broad spectrum of things within my 'Italian' theme? Some help and advise would be greatly appreciated.
