There is another possible way of IMPROVING a county medium by:

In the county NEXT DOOR to the North, there is a relative NEW newspaper who has ONLY 2 News reporters(& 1 Sports Editor) who goes out & gets the RIGHT kind of News.....Examples:

1) Instead of taking 'MudShots' of inmates, they send their photographers to take photos of DEVELOPMENT in communities, kids, seniors, etc.

2) They keep crime news to a minimum so they can CONCENTRATE on getting the Regular News for the LOCAL communities.

3) If any of their 'LOCAL' Boards are CONSIDERING putting on a millage ballot to POSSIBLY raise tax dollars, then they go out & print the real 'FACTS'.

4) The reading customers are charged NOTHING.

The RESULTS?

Their Advertising Sales staff of 2 is able to go out & get the LOCAL Advertisers who are MORE than happy to sell goods & services to their customers......

.....vs being the 'old', outdated & out-of-touch corporate media, whose owners & executives who live TOO FAR AWAY to ADDRESS the 'conventional' Advertisers in THE LOCAL & COUNTY COMMUNITIES.
