Back To Work I Go

I just can't manage on my pension, so I have had to go back to work. Fortunately I am working for the body corporate of the retirement village where I live. I am working from 8-4, which means a very tiring 8 hour day. It involves a lot of manual work, so I get home pretty beat up.

Enough about my whining, I have had 3 and 1/2 months of 20 hour weeks getting to grips with bootcamp here at WA. I lost my last job at the end of September last year, because the firm I was working for lost their contract to another company whose bid for the contract was much lower than ours.

What this means is that for the time being I will not be involved here at WA as much as I was hoping to be. Last night I only managed 1 hour of bootcamp, before I had to go to bed.

It is only 7.30 pm and all I have done this evening is write this blog and I am too tired to carry on. I am sure this won't last and I will get back into the swing of things in no time. I just thought I would share this with you all.

Good night,

Garth

Many of us here still have daytime jobs. You do what you can, nothing wrong with that. This is why I think online business is great. It is flexible.

Thanks Gordi. I am really grateful for you taking the trouble to give me a boost when I need it most. Garth

Best wishes with your job and hope the adjustment goes well.

Thanks for your kind words. Garth

Hi Garth, it's tough trying to survive today with the cost of living just sky-rocketing! It will obviously take longer for you to reach your goals now, but unlike so many others, you are not giving up!

All of the best!

Lydia.

Thanks Lydia. I really appreciate that you care. Garth

Hi Garth.

I work 9-5 (normally longer, as most people probably do) - so I only get an hour or so a night too after we put our boys to bed.

The fact you've posted a blog today, means you're sticking with it. Getting into the way of writing, and just putting down what you feel - it is all contributing to the education you're getting here (at least, that's the way I feel about the time I spend here). I would love to spend hours every day, working on sites, reading posts, helping where I could - but right now, that's not possible. But I know the destination... I'm just going to take the slow meandering tourist route - but I'll get there eventually. I'm certain you will too.

Just keep doing what you're doing. There is no boss here, expecting you to churn out 2 posts per day, or have another website up by the end of the week, so just take it easy, at your own pace, and enjoy it when you can.

If you're tired, take a break - if you're pumped and got some ideas for a post, post! Everything should be to suit around you.

All the best Garth,

Mark

Thanks Mark. This is what is so fantastic about this place, we all help one another. I am at a low point at the moment and you have just given me that extra push not to give up. Garth

That's right Mark. No boss pushing us, telling us what and when, and how to do it.
