The Lakes Tranquility
This painting reminds me so much of when I was a kid and my girl friends parents managed Trout Lake Camp. I the off-season before the snow hit we could run around and do anything we wanted. Well except swim, it was a bit chilly out.
She had an old volks wagon, she drove all over. There wasn't any roads. Just pathways for people to walk on. But with her little car, they are our freeway! All 5 of us would jump in a car and she would drive as fast as she darred to drive.
We did take in some fishing. I loved it but wasn't so good at it. I should have been. I use to go fishing with my brother a all the time. I had the old open face reel. It would back lash all the time in the same place. So I would just throw it out a little. And that was are our the tiny fish are at. It was fun watching them eat my worm and the boober would Jump and down. I was gust hoping that a big one would come along a grab it and off it would go. But that was just dreamming.
Like now it is all memories and day dreams of the days at the camp/lake. These things can never be taken from us. Hope you enjoy my painting, it will be for sale later after I listen to more lessons. These lesson are great. Each one covers one thing and doesn't have you all over the internet and confused.
I hope the detail shows up in my painting . we will see.

Welcome aboard Lura and best wishes as you explore the WA opportunity, so true memories can be so vivid and create much in our lives.
WA is the right place to come and learn and it can be one of those times when the best course of action is to follow along. I am sure you will create some excellent paintings.
