Back in 2014 the same thing happened to me... I got hit REAL bad on one of my top sites... Was a devastating blow...

What I learned though is that it is possible to come back - and it looks like your site has indeed been affected by the latest update given the date ranges.

My advice for coming through this latest update is to do your best to improve readability/navigation... Make it nice and simple.

Big fonts, easy to read colours, not too much clutter, straight forward navigation, hold off any popups until the user has at least had a good chance to read content... And most importantly make the content look great on mobile. No horizontal scrolling, having to zoom or anything like that.

Google is much more advanced than it was back in 2014 when it happened to me & if you make all of the relevant changes you will likely see things get back to normal relatively quickly.

Very helpful comment
Think I need to change my theme

Mobile friendly I think is now something very important

Less people buy a laptop so I must consider what you just said

Thank again

Hi Dale, I have got rid of the popup, for now, My site is showing well for mobile. Do you think it may because of it being a medical site?

No I don't believe it has anything to do with that. I just ran a few medical related searches & almost all of them where niche affiliate sites on the first page (bar a couple "big names"). Just make sure that you are open and honest with your disclaimers, and make sure each post has an author box explaining to the user who you are & where your knowledge comes from.

You follow what you are been taught, it makes you question is all the hard work worth it
