How July 4, 1986 Led Me Here to WA

Yea, yea I know. Maybe it's hard to believe… but I assure you it is true.

And what follows might be a bit sappy… but I have never been afraid of being who I am :-).

I was stationed in Germany with The US Army starting in January 1986. I was fortunate enough to get a greeeeeeat duty station outside a small town called Schwäbisch Hall. Wonderful, wonderful place!

When I first got there, I sought out other musicians as I am a guitar player and we formed a band. We had a great success playing some gigs at the community club on base. We just packed the place to standing room only and just had an unbelievably fun time playing… and drinking ;-).

July was coming up and we thought, “Why not have a party and play a gig outside at the basketball court to help and celebrate Independence Day overseas?”

Well… we just had to laugh - because only about 7 or 8 people showed up for it because everyone had gone out of town for the most part that weekend.

But something important happened that day that changed the course of my life. My friend Steve took my picture.

Big deal, right? Well, yea it certainly turned out to be one.

Because you see… almost 30 years later that picture was posted to Facebook (complete with my butt-ugly Hawaiian shirt and George Michael sunglasses) ... by Steve’s ex-wife who I had no idea had the photo. And they hadn’t even been together for many, many years.

Conincidence or Fate? Nah... I say destiny as all these little things had to happen for me to reconnect with with this person.

Even better… it was posted on my birthday of all days.

After the picture was posted, I was almost immediately messaged by someone from my past...a friend of Steve's ex-wife.

Someone who blew my mind by saying, “I don’t know if you remember me…”

Someone who had made an unforgettable impression on me, but thought she hadn’t.

Someone who I wished I would have gotten to know better back then because I would have married her long ago simply because getting to know her almost 30 years later… I found out that she is the most amazing person I have ever known.

But as with many things in life, it was complicated then and things didn’t go that way.

Love of my life, soulmate, most beautiful women in the world… Yea, she is all of those things to me. (I told you it would be a little sappy)

I know you are asking yourself… what does that have to do with WA?

I have looked high and low for an opportunity that would afford me the freedom, opportunity and income to let me live life how I wanted. And I have found it here.

In the past, I have made as much as $12,500.00 in a month with affiliate marketing long ago before the Google slap… and as much $7,000.00 in 7 days recently with product launches of my own stuff with someone I work with.

But the underlying problem is consistency of that income.

And that is why I decided on starting the ‘long game’ to make this happen. I believe anyone can do anything they want - as long as they stick with it long enough.

Yes, it can be challenging to stay mentally strong over time… but this is also a learned behavior that becomes easier each day as you consciously decide to make things happen in your life.

And once you learn it, you will be able to achieve things you may never have though possible for yourself because nothing else will be good enough. I know this has been the case with me in the past.

Like me and many others here, figure out what it is that you want most in life that WA can help you achieve, and become relentless in the pursuit of that goal every day. Having that purpose will make all the difference for you achieving what you want you want in your life.

And as cliché as the saying has become, it is as true a statement as there is. Whether you think you can or can't.... you are absolutely right.

So decide you 'can' and then do it, because no one else is going to do it for you.
