Having a lot of fun with Image Studio
Morning all
I hope you are all well. I wanted to share a bit of fun I have been having with Image Studio recently, which I hope everyone will enjoy.
The background
Recently, whenever my family get together, we have a group photo, which is not unusual, I know.
However, we have now got into the habit of also doing a Victorian-style photo and all sitting bolt upright with stern faces, facing the camera., just for a bit of fun.
With Image Studio, I then transform the image so we are all wearing Victorian costumes.
It's great fun and I suggest you try it as the results are amazing and it shows just how powerful Image Studio really is. It's certainly become a tradition in our family now and the results are great!
So yesterday, at my daughter's birthday celebration, we did this.
This is what I started with:

This is the first iteration using the prompt below:
Prompt: Make this image look like a Victorian family photo in black and white and the people wearing Victorian costumes.

Second attempt, as I noticed the hair was still 21st century:
Prompt: Make this image look like a Victorian family photo in black and white and the people wearing Victorian costumes and the young girls to have simple ringlets.

And finally, we had a bit of a joke... the uncle we never mention!
Prompt: Make this image look like a Victorian family photo in black and white and all the people wearing Victorian costumes, but put the man in the back who has his arms in the air in a white asylum suit.

Top tip
If you are going to try this, my top tip is to refine your prompt rather than try to edit the images if you don't get what you want the first time. I've found there is a little bit of loss of clarity on faces the more times you try to edit it and the further away you get from your reference photo, so it's better to edit your prompt to make it more specific and try again with your original photo to keep the quality.
Anyway, I hope this brought a smile to your faces - it certainly does ours! Or not! LOL
Have a great day
Gail

Clarity is crucial. It's worth spending time writing the prompt, leaving it for a while and then come back to it and finish it off. Saves credits as well
Indeed. Thanks for the advice.
