90 Day WA Challenge Report from Gail - Week 11

Good evening amazing people!

Can't quite believe that I'm writing week 11 of this challenge now, but here we are - halfway through September... how did that happen?! Last time I looked, it was July!

I feel that this week has been a good week overall with ticking a few things off my list that I've wanted to do for a while and that feels good. Time to start thinking about reaping what we've sown.

So, just to remind you, we're in phase 3 of the challenge. Our targets for this week were:

✅ Weeks 9–12: Monetize + Optimize (September)

  • Add stronger CTAs and affiliate links
  • Update 3+ older posts for SEO or layout
  • Create a “top tools” or “best of” article
  • Begin tracking clicks or conversions
  • Optional: Launch a lead magnet, opt-in, or email list

Focus: Let the machine work. Shift from growth to revenue.

So, here's my week 10 progress

  1. I've finished going through my affiliate links on the site and converting them all the UK version of Amazon. As you'll know if you've followed these blogs, I originally set them all up on Amazon USA and then got rejected for that so I've had to change them all to the UK version. I've also updated my affiliate disclaimer following a few posts from @paulm18 about staying compliant: (see https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/paulm18/blog/how-to-stay-compliant-and-keep-your-amazon-account-safe). I was rejected from the UK site recently but successfully managed to reinstate my account by emailing them to say that I was in the process of converting the .com links to .co.uk ones and now that's done - huge sense of relief.
  2. I haven't published any new posts this week but having refreshed my pillar post last week, I've now done the same to 4 sister posts to my main Law of Attraction post this week. These relate to the LOA and money, gratitude, FAQs and ways to raise your vibration. These have all been completely rewritten, with much stronger structures, headings and CTAs as well as better internal linking and new photos.
  3. Still no "top tools" or "best of" article this week, but I think my focus on updating is more important.
  4. I created a video to go with my pillar post and this has been doing better than usual on my YouTube channel. It's not viral by any means and still only low number BUT it has brought me 2 more subscribers this week so that's something. It's embedded into my blog too and promoted across all socials.
  5. Google is still stubbornly refusing to acknowledge my articles but instead of getting depressed about it, I'm now starting to find it funny - Bing is indexing things so I'm starting to think of Google as the poor relation,.. maybe that's just the books on CBT that I'm reading but a shift in mindset is everything!
  6. Another thing I'm proud of this week is that I created a second lead magnet for the site and added it as a popup on the site. It's a poster showing 9 different ways to raise your vibration to accompany the post on that topic. I made it in Canva and offered it for free.
  7. This week I've also made:
    1. 11 posts on Facebook/Instagram and 15 pins on Pinterest
    2. 15 posts on Facebook/Instagram for my other 2 sites
    3. Published my newsletter with all the newly updated posts and video

My thoughts on the week

I'm actually feeling very pleased with the work I've done this week because I've been able to complete a few things that I've wanted to finish for a while and that gives me a good sense of accomplishment. Of course, I've learned that site maintenance is an ongoing project that will never really be done, but I can feel pleased that I've at least come to the end of the beginnning!

I'm still working through my site improvement plan and I'm not concentrating too much on my analytics as yet - I believe that if I keep striving to improve then I will reach the people I'm aiming to at some point or another, in one medium or another and that all this hard work will begin to pay off.

I'm looking forward to starting on the WA affiliate bootcamp soon as this will make me focus on one of my other sites which I know needs the same overhaul that The Creative Choice is getting.

So all in all, I think I've had a great week. I feel like I've done a lot of maintenance on the site in the last few weeks which can only be good.

And if all else fails, I've been updating the cabin in my back garden over the last week too, (or turning it into a spaceship as I've told my children) so I'll be able to head off into space to meet Fleeky's comet!

Goal for next week

My goals for next week are going to focus on updating more content and creating some Instagram reels and YouTube shorts...

Oh, and a little surprise for all you lovely WAers to look out for later this week.

Have a great and productive week ahead everyone. The next week will see the autumnal Equinox for us in the Northern hemisphere, marking the transition of the seasons, and a time to gather in what we have sown earlier in the year! Fingers crossed it will be a good one!
