The WA affiliate program is included in your premium subscription, it is the $ sign top menu.

In the Genesis Sample theme there is a header I have outlined in the photo below. I have done everything I can to change the color (I want it to be black) but nothing seems to
Hi Gabriel. I don't use Genesis but you should be able to do that in your WordPress back office by going to Appearance>Customize>Colors>Header. Anything you can change should be shown there.

Unfortunately I've tried that and it doesn't register, as seen in the photo I've attached.
Your screenshot indicates you cannot change the background color of the header, at least not that way. There may be a plugin that can help you or you will need to go change the code and I cannot help you there, sorry.
