Return of A Prodigal Son
Hello everyone, I'm back! And while this may not seem considerably significant to some, for me, it means everything.
For a short period of time, I was completely absent from our Wealthy Affiliate site. My finances were such that I could no longer fund the monthy premium. More importantly, I was distracted and had lost complete focus on the business I was building here. I had gotten caught up in answering ads for get-rich-quick schemes, and scam-type business opportunities. It is one of my character weaknesses.
The fact that I've come back and have renewed my focus on building my own business here, is so important to me, because I've learned a valuable lesson, and one that I hope will assist me with staying focused and following through on what could potentially be the most profitable endeavor I've ever undertaken.
I've lost a great deal of valuable time that I'll never get back. But I don't believe all is lost because, again, the lesson behind my loss of focus and what it was that took that focus away, has taught me more about myself than anything I've ever read in almost any book, or researched on any website. It should prove to be a most invaluable lesson indeed. And I do hope others are able to learn from my mistakes.
Now, I've committed to one of the higher levels of membership, with an annual subscription, in the hopes that within a year's time, with a renewed focus and commitment, I'll be able to perpetually fund my membership, just from the business and sales generated from the website(s) I've created.
We should all review our goals on a regular basis, and do our best to keep the promise to ourselves to put in the hours necessary to reach them.
Some time ago, I read that when you run your own business, your "boss" is success. And success requires a level of self-motivation, and self-discipline that I have yet to appreciate and incorporate into my work ethic. I'm planning now for all of that to change.
Hopefully, this can be a lesson for some of my fellow members. We all owe it to ourselves to keep the commitments we've made in the setting and reaching of our goals. We cannot afford to let anything distract us or cause us to lose focus on our dreams.
It's good to be back. I'm looking forward to the day when being here has helped me (and perhaps someone else) to achieve greatness.

Welcome back my friend...it is a jungle of quick money scams out there. I made a site 20 years ago and gave it away to a person that still makes money on it today without adding or changing a word. It wasn't even a good one...lol. Oh well, we live and we learn. See you in the village my friend
