Importance of having a community
After I've gotten out of the military, I learned to be self reliant. I was on my own with my toddler son and I had no more military family baby sitting me. I became very independent and my confidence grew as I started accomplishing goals after goals on my own. However, I also forgot about how a community can be so beneficial. That I don't always have to go through everything on my own. I realized the importance of it 3 years later when I graduated from college.
Community can be very supportive and boost up your morale when you have doubts or unmotivated about the path you are taking. I'm very glad I'm being reminded of this more and more as I go. Hopefully I won't forget about the community and keep it as a part of me. A little word of encouragement can make a huge difference in someone's day or someone's week or even their life time. You never know.
I want to thank you for whoever within WA community that gave me positive feedbacks and gave me encouragement to keep going. Thank you all!
