Today I am want to reach out to the whole wide world, starting with you, here within, Wealthy Affiliates, because what has happened in my life 30 years ago, Almost happened to my girlfriend, but it did happen to a good friend of mine.
My mother died at a much too young age.
I way 27 years old that my mom died from a brain tumor, which in those days, I am talking 1989, could not be treated and I am not sure whether doctors can in these days, because it way situated in a very difficult place in the forehead. After 10 months of hospital in hospital out she way released from her pain by mother nature and passed away.
Today I got a whattsapp message from my good friend Ronald, I am working with him for many years in construction projects, that his mom passed away after a struggling period of 2 years, breast cancer at the age of 72 years. She had a terrible life, with really a lot of pain, due to their marriage, religion and culture, because she way Indonesian, married to Indonesian man, who beat her, but she loved him, and due to religion and old Indonesian culture you do not talk about problems you have, issues playing a role in your marriage. So she and her children really had a very hard life and nearly could enjoy life. My friend Ronald really loved his mom deeply, had a lot of anxiety in his life, but misses his mom, who passed away way to early, because people in Holland become in average almost 90 years old. So for him is a very sad day.
3 weeks ago my wife of 37, got a call from her brother, he way in hospital with his mother 57 years old, she had a light heart attack, we life in the Netherlands and her mother lives in Surinam, South America. Please take into account that in both countries is in lock down for Covid-19,
Her mother needed an open-heart surgery, it appeared that she needed 4 new heart vain in a small country in South America, luckily this country is connected to the Netherlands in Europe, so the operation went well, That's absolutely not always the case, because other mothers did passed away 2 days later.
But the attitude of the nursing brigade and the kitchen forced her to leave the hospital after 7 days and get better at home, without any medical support. She way so badly treated that she got a trauma / psychoses, talking like a child, no home support could be hired, because of Covid we cannot trust those nurses, because they go from home to home, without real proper precautions. The mothers immune system way so low, if she way caught by Covid she would die.
So all brothers and my wife had to do everything to keep their mother alive. One brother flew immediately to Surinam and we came last Wednesday after arranging all 10 Forms and 2 tests of Covid. All to take care of their mom and keep her alive.
Open heart surgery is a very huge surgery, doctors open up your chest, cut your breast bone, to be able to surge your heart, and also cut your leg and arm open to take out the vain they need for replacement at the heart. So this is really heavy surgery.
But now slowly my girlfriends mother is reviving and walking again, trough all the love of her children and dear ones, she is recovering in a positive way. All to keep our mother alive.
Yesterday, we did a small celebration, we had a small barbecue with chicken, to celebrate that this mother is still alive. Now slowly we can start enjoy being in Surinam for the first time of my life.
It is 30 degrees Celsius, 86 degrees Fahrenheit, every day!! Bananas, Mangoes, Coconuts and a lot more of these fruits are just hanging in the trees waiting to be grabbed.

Yes, we would agree with you. Life is very short. You certainly have a lot of experience with that. Fortunately medical technology has progressed a lot but non of us know how long our life will be.

Hey Frederick thank you for sharing your personal story. Thankfully your girlfriends mom is on the mend and hopefully will be back to normal before too long. Living in Trinidad I understand all too well the yummy feeling you are getting with the fruit. All the best
