Day 1 Internet Marketing Success

I've been looking at online selling since 2006. 8 years later, and I still don't yet have a website up, a product or service, or any type of community. The whole point of joining this community is to change that. To create public wins and goals and tests and successes, taking everything one step at a time.

Timeline goals are useful to keep me motivated, so I'll list them here:

1. Within 24 hours, I will have a website up and running related to the Muscle Building niche with a pen name. I've been working out for years off and on, have kettlebells at my house and a dog-eared copy of Starting Strength in my living room. I'm not an Adonis yet, but writing and creating reviews about building muscle will also motivate me to eat healthier, train more, and get back into the shape I was in college. The site will have something like "muscle" and "shop" in the name so that the name itself attracts buyers only. I know from personal experience that men in this market are buyers, they will buy online, and they will buy anything and everything possible to get and stay in great shape, get stronger, and build muscle. Win win win.

2. Within one week, so by next Monday, 2/1, I will have made at least one sale from that website. I will use a combination of Amazon, Clickbank, Dragondoor, and various smaller websites affiliate programs to drive sales. I will not create a product myself in this niche until I understand the market very well from a buyer's perspective. I will also look into both CPA offers and Teespring tshirts to sell.

3. Within one month and one day, so by 2/28, I will have earned over $100 in net profit, and will have several sets of PPC ads driving traffic to my site. I will have worked on the site consistently for 1-2 hours five days per week in the past month. I will have on the site a PDF linked to an Aweber account to begin building a list under my pen name.

4. Before I turn 30, so by 9/16 later this year, I will have earned enough in sales and have a broad enough set of skills in internet marketing that I will never have to work at a sales job again for the rest of my life. I will be free to choose to continue to sell cars, roofs, credit cards, or anything else I have before or want to get into, but I will be financially free.

5. By 1/1/2015, I will be 100% debt free, with the possible exception of a mortgage should I choose to finance a house this year.

The only wrong action is inaction, so I will keep moving forward as much as I can with this first site, and then use the success of it to move into other markets.
