OpenAI Enterprise: The Secret Weapon For A Competitive Business Advantage!
Hi, WA Friends
Have you heard about OpenAI Enterprise?
As a brief departure from my drivel on all things guitar, here are the basics of what you need to know, taken from OpenAI's website and summarized by ChatGPT4.
What Is ChatGPT Enterprise?
ChatGPT Enterprise is a subscription plan from OpenAI that offers enterprise-grade security and privacy, unlimited higher-speed GPT-4 access, longer context windows for processing longer inputs, advanced data analysis capabilities, customization options, and much more.
Key Features
Here are some of the key features of ChatGPT Enterprise:
Enterprise-grade security and privacy: Designed to meet the security and privacy requirements of businesses of all sizes. It includes features such as single sign-on (SSO), domain verification, and data encryption.
Unlimited higher-speed GPT-4 access: Gives you unlimited access to the latest and greatest version of GPT-4, OpenAI's powerful language model. This means you can use ChatGPT to generate text, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way, all at the fastest possible speed.
Longer context windows: Allows you to process longer inputs and files. This is useful for tasks such as summarizing documents, generating code, and answering complex questions.
Advanced data analysis: Includes advanced data analysis capabilities, formerly known as Code Interpreter. This allows you to analyze information in seconds, whether it's for financial research, marketing, or data science.
Customization options: It is highly customizable. You can use pre-built chat templates to simplify and standardize team-wide workflows, or you can use API credits to build your own custom solutions.
What Else Makes It Useful?
ChatGPT Enterprise can be used for a variety of purposes in the enterprise, including:
Customer service: To automate customer service tasks, such as answering questions, resolving issues, and providing support.
Sales and marketing: To generate leads, qualify prospects, and close deals.
IT support: To answer IT questions, troubleshoot problems, and provide support to employees.
Human resources: ChatGPT can be used to automate HR tasks, such as onboarding new employees, managing benefits, and answering questions.
Finance and accounting: To automate finance and accounting tasks, such as preparing reports, analyzing data, and answering questions.
Research and development: To accelerate research and development by automating tasks such as data analysis, literature review, and writing reports.
ChatGPT Enterprise Pricing
OpenAI does not publicly disclose the pricing for ChatGPT Enterprise. Instead, they offer a custom pricing plan that is tailored to the specific needs of each business. The price will vary depending on the number of users, the amount of data processed, and the features required.
However, the starting price for ChatGPT Enterprise is $20 per person per month. This includes access to the latest and greatest version of GPT-4, unlimited higher-speed access, longer context windows, and advanced data analysis capabilities.
Before you get too excited, thinking that you can sign up as a single user, read the section below on Minimum Number Of Required Users. π
The price will go up depending on the number of users and the amount of data processed. For example, if you have 100 users and you process 100GB of data per month, the price would start at $2000 per month, depending on your needs.
Additional Factors That May Affect Pricing
The type of business: The price will be different for businesses in different industries, such as healthcare, finance, or retail.
The size of the business: The price will be different for small businesses, medium businesses, and large businesses.
The level of customization required: The price will be higher if you require a high level of customization.
Minimum Number Of Required Users
Yes, there is a minimum number of users required for ChatGPT Enterprise. According to OpenAI, to purchase ChatGPT Enterprise, the minimum number of users in your organization needs to be 150.
Here's what they have to say on the matter:
There are a few reasons for this minimum number of users. First, ChatGPT Enterprise is a powerful tool that requires a lot of resources. The more users you have, the more resources ChatGPT will need. Second, OpenAI wants to ensure that businesses are serious about using ChatGPT Enterprise before they invest in it. By requiring a minimum number of users, OpenAI can ensure that businesses are committed to using ChatGPT Enterprise and getting the most out of it.
This all sounds like "corporate double-talk" to me. π§

So, that's what you need to know about OpenAI's Enterprise version. Hopefully, ChatGPT-5, which is expected sometime in 2024, will incorporate some of these additional features on a non-enterprise level.
Let me know what you think of CharGPT Enterprise in the comments, and don't worry, I'll be back with more musical stuff to amuse and possibly annoy you when you least expect it! Lol π
But, until then...

Hi there, Frank.
Thank you for sharing this meaningful information regarding the open- ai enterprise - the secret weapon for a competitive business venture. AI is moving at breakneck speed right now and it is not slacking up at any time.
Many of us newbies are just getting the hang of GPT3.5 and a tad bit into GPT 4. Do you think it is a good idea to dive head first into this newer iteration of AI, or should we let our jets cool off first? Your input is greatly appreciated.
It would be nice to have a breakout training on the new Openai Enterprise technology, don't you think? We are already half way there.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, Frank. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
An AI enthusiast,
Rachele
Hi Rachele
ChatGPT4 is $20/month. I recommend you jump straight into version four, assuming the money is not an issue.
I always like to start at the top and work my way down, if required. Lol π
The newer version is smarter, allows custom instructions, and the use of plugins to read published info on the web and do advanced data analysis.
OpenAI Enterprise training is not necessary because itβs not available to groups of users smaller than 150.
Rock On! π€

Could certainly be a beneficial tool for large companies Frank, but I think I will give it a miss at this point in time!
Let's see what Chatty5 has to offer when it is released!!
Appreciate the info my friend and....
Rock On!!

Thank you, Frank, for the insight into the GPT Enterprise information.
I haven't purchased anything related to AI and have no intentions for at least, the remainder of this year. However, reading and watching the many opinions for and against the technology is very interesting. The opinions from person to person change from day to day, whether they are for or against. What was a disadvantage yesterday is an advantage today.
I won't be investing in the Enterprise version of GPT.
"Today's Technology is Obsolete Tomorrow!"
Regards, Matt
Hi, Matt
AI is a must-use or get left behind technology in online marketing. Your competition is using it as you read this. It's a positive game-changer when properly implemented!
You can use ChatGPT 3.5 and Bard, which are both free and work very well. They are a good way to jump in. π
There are some really excellent AI classes at WA!
The Enterprise version of OpenAI is for businesses of 150 people or more.
Frank πΈ
Yes, thank you, Frank.
I am using several forms of AI, taking prompting courses, and I have sat in on some of the training replays from the WA training team. I'm suggesting that I'm not paying for anything new related to AI this year. Sorry if I didn't come across clearly or misspoke.

Hi, Maria
OpenAI Enterprise is only available to businesses with 150 AI users or more, so it is a commercial product.
Hopefully, ChatGPT5 will incorporate some of it's new features.
Rock On! π€
Frank πΈ
Yeah, 149, Maria.
It's the number of AI users. π
