I hope I wasn't misunderstood or offended anyone!

I wasn't trying to say that you or anyone else shouldn't use Amazon or that Amazon was bad altogether.

It's just from what I heard about the low pay and other things and my personal preference, I'm going to try to not go that route.

But if I do end up using Amazon while waiting to use Mediavine and others, as it sounds like you plan to do as well, your info will definitely be useful :)

You're welcome, although my view on Amazon is just my preference and opinion since I've never used them.

I've heard in posts and chats that many people use Amazon.

So you might want to get the opinion of people who have actually used them, before taking my word as the final say on it.

Also, like someone here (Prince P "ParthaB") whose input, opinion, and advice, I respect very much; I'm not going to do any monetization at all until I have a fairly large amount of traffic.

I recommend not jumping into Amazon until you begin seeing traffic on your site because you have to make three separate commissions in 6 months, or Amazon will terminate your Associaties agreement.

Amazon's commissions are low, and their cookie is only one day, but you'd be surprised what else I sell that has nothing to do with music. I get a 3% commission on music items, whereas it's only 4-5% for some of the online music stores I use, so there's not a big difference. It depends on your niche.

The other thing about Amazon is that they have a huge trust factor, 2-day free shipping for Prime members, and offer free payment plans.

I've sold more $2,000+ guitars on Amazon than on other guitar sites.

Yeah, it matches the industry that you're passionate about. I have nothing interested in selling any of Amazon's products. Not at all. To each's own.
Thanks for sharing your experience with them. I would probably be limited to selling only Apple stuff but maybe thats about it. Maybe later, right now my thing is the financial niche and mom niche.
