- Translate your code from one language to another
- Help generate documentation and tutorials for source code
- Help you craft SQL queries for your databases
According to Google, "This update introduces software development support for over 20 programming languages, including JavaScript, Python, SQL, TypeScript, and even Google Sheets functions. Collaborate with Bard to help generate, explain, and debug your code. Google Colab users can also export Python code generated by Bard directly to Google Colab to seamlessly continue programming tasks."
Although OpenAI had coding capabilities first, I think Bard will eventually catch up to and surpass OpenAI because it has the power and resources of Google behind it. It will be an interesting competition, to say the least!
