I want help adding my . com to W/A

Have you checked the responses on the other thread?

We have established that you purchased your domain here, so you can either build on it or move your siterubix subdomain to your newly purchased .com domain.

You can go to the site builder
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/build

Click a domain you own, enter credentials, and follow the procedure.

Or apply the move feature found within the site manager to move your siterubix subdomain to your .com
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites

That's included in lesson 3 of the core webinar training.

I get this message "Oh no, you've reached the maximum number of domains that you are allowed to host at WA as a Premium member (0). For options to host more websites at WA, please contact Carson via Private Message."

As a premium subscriber, you can host up to three domains. How many websites do you have in your site manager?

(That's to include siterubix subdomains)

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites

So I have three now can I delete one to host my .com domain?

Yup :) You can.

Click details on the domain in question in the site manager, move onward to the next page, scroll all the way to the bottom, and click delete.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites

Then, you can add another one to the site domain area.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains

You can create a new, empty website on that domain name and then start to build it out. Go to Websites >> Site Builder >> Domain I Own and proceed from there. The website will be built in less than a minute. Then log in and start building as outlined in the training.

if you bought on wa then goto websites>>sitedomains and it should be listed there..
what you need to do now is either to move another site onto it or add wordpress via websites>>sitemanager >>create a new site ( on a domain i own)

I registered my domain where do I go from here?

Otherwise, you will have to point your domain to WA servers

To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com

none of this is making sense to me. I'm sure everyone don't have this trouble. I got my domain as suggested and now don't know what to do everything was going fine until this stage in the game. and now I'm stuck

Please read the below comment as well :)

To transfer your domain here, you need to log in to the current registrar and fetch the EPP code; there's a one-year charge of $15.99, privacy included. One year more will get added to your domain.

Also, it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.

the video is so blurred I can't see it and the sound is not much better

The easiest is to log in to your current registrar and ask the registrar's support to help you out (Tell them what you are looking to do/acheive.)

where and how do I do this?

Who's your domain registrar? Where did you purchase your .com domain? Was it WA or another?

If WA, you do not need to do anything; you can start a hub with it.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/hubs

If you are elsewhere, please let us know.

If you do not know, you may look up your domain at https://whois.com/whois

I got my free domain on W/A with the credits it is "MyDIYHomeProjects.com"

Yeah, you purchased it here :)

If you want to move your free to your .com domain name, you can apply the move feature fund on the domain in question in the site manager

I can't see those screens anywhere

They are screenshots

1st is from https://whois.com/whois
2nd is from https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites

Are you moving your siterubix subdomain to your .com premium one? Or else what you are looking to achieve.

I have a site d iy-home-projects.siterubix.com so I think that would be the proper thing to do don't you think?"

site should be diy-home-projects.siterubix.com

Yup, it has the 'Blocksy' theme - what about it?

What do you mean by that?

'That' relates to?

Are you okay here? Are you figured out now?

how do I find this

not so easy I can't find anything

What is your website's URL?

thank you there is a 2 after my G do that mean I have 2 indexed?

What is your website's URL?

That's what I see. However, I suggest if you are happy with your niche, you may look up a suitable domain on Namy.AI or BrandSnap.AI - then you can apply the move feature available in the site manager to move your subdomain over to your .com

Class three covers that aspect

You would get credits for your first .com domain, that costs 32 credits each -

I don't have any credits but i\I am a premium member. do I need a domain now? I just don't understand what's going on.

Please read the instructions above. I don't know why you don't have any credits. Have you purchased a .com domain here before?

You need to shift to a .com domain name, as some programs may not work with a siterubix subdomain.

Site:[domain].com - replacing domain with yours.

You can watch this training he shows you how to find it

Great resource, Brenda :)

also what about The SEO framework plugin

I don't use it either. It wasn't compatible with my theme. I've also read that it can slow down a website too.

Not compatible, how?

After I installed it, it wouldn't let me go any further, I believe I mentioned it to Kyle some time ago, and he said that it's not always compatible with certain themes and not to worry about it.

Well, yeah, if a plugin. It would say if it is compatible with the theme in the plugin area and add a new one.

Thanks for the clarification.

No problem :-)

Thanks again :)

Also, Frank's assessment of Site Kit is spot on :) I do not use the site kit.

Yeah it is recommended by WA.

Site Kit by Kyle Jay's live webinar

I would agree with Frank on this, Site kit is not worth it and does slow down your site. Just use GSC instead does the same job but better and no plugin is needed.

With SEO plugin doesn't matter which one you use that all have their advantages and disadvantages over each other.

The reason why WA took out AIO over SEO Framework was that AIO had too much of a push to upgrade with other plugins which weren't necessary. That is all otherwise Kyle has stated elsewhere that AIO is still good to use.

The main thing you need to note is to use Any SEO plugin as a guide not as a necessity as they are just tools. Focus on what matters most and that is to write content for the benefit of your readers and help them find what they are seeking. Not what SEO plugins may want you to do.

Hi Francis

The SEO Framework plugin is what WA now recommends; it doesn't really matter too much which SEO Plugin you use.

I don't use the Google Site Kit plugin; not too much usable info there and it can slow down your website. I recommend you use Google Analytics 4 instead. It gives you all the analytics you need for info that Google tracks from most any source coming into your various properties. 😎
