I Challenge YOU to My 21-Day Challenge

As some of you might know, I've set myself a goal of writing a post here every day.

The reason for this is to test the expert theory that repeating the same activity every day for 21 days creates a habit.

Some great writers advise to write at least 500 words per day, and gradually increasing that number.

This should help avoid writers block and create the habit of producing content.

I know most people are of the opinion that I should be producing content for my website instead...

And to be honest, I'm not even writing a post per week at the moment, so I agree.

But I'm working on a different project at the moment and will come back to blogging soon, and strong!

So why am I writing here instead of my blog every morning?

  • Here I practice free writing, without editing and without any KW objective and without any major thought about the subject.
  • I have the opportunity to share some things I've learned along my journey with you and you might find something useful.

  • I use it as a journal for myself, to keep my knowledge and thoughts organized and come back to whenever I need.
  • I love this community and sharing my thoughts and knowledge with you brings me great pleasure.
  • I practice my writing and become a better writer every day.

What have I learned after 15 days of 1 post per day in WA?

I'm yet to reach my 21 day mark, but I already feel this practice as a part of myself, I feel incomplete unless I write my daily blog.

I feel more productive every day and ready to do a lot more.

Mark Twain said: "Eat a live frog every morning, and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day".

And Admiral William H. McRaven said in his famous speech in the university of Texas that "If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed".

He goes on to explain that "if you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride, and it will encourage you to do another task, and another, and another."

The whole speech is highly inspiring and I advise you to look for it on youtube, it's quite easy to find with the information I left here.

I also feel that I'm giving back and learning at the same time and this fills me with joy!

I'd like to challenge you to do the same...

So I'd like to challenge you to do the same, it doesn't have to be a post in WA per day, but something that will bring you closer to your goals and brings you joy.

Every morning, when you wake up, before you start your day, do something that is productive to you, do this for 21 days and then come back here and leave a comment with your feelings and results.

Let me know if you're taking the challenge.

I will report back once I reach day 21.

For now, have an amazing day and have fun!
