No Amazon Affiliates in NC!

Hello all! I was very excited about becoming a part of such a great community and I have enjoyed the training. There was a great training on how to use Amazon as an affiliate. I started having some great ideas and I signed up as an affiliate (or tried to).

I find out that North Carolina does not allow Amazon affiliates due to some law. I wanted to share the information with everyone. Amazon is working to fix this. I am still excited about what can come from being a part of this community and creating success online. Keep moving forward to get the reward!

Remember, there is a niche for you out there. I know it sucks that Amazon is not available. Maybe try Click Bank. Or you could start a site around DS Domination. I am not a member but it seems people are having huge success with it.

Hello, Hey check into the law as it is going to Supreme court. Illinois just went through this and the tax law was thrown out... So I also could not get with Amazon until the law was thrown out. Now I reapplied to Amazon and was accepted. So keep checking and Good Luck to you and check out my blog "I tired to be an affiliate" on this subject.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I will definitely check out your blog.

Yeah, we have the same problem up here in Missouri. Your state has actually passed new tax laws that want to take a bigger chunk of money from Amazon. Don't hold your breath on Amazon fixing this. They already have by banning your state from being an associate. The only thing you can do is to get your state government to remand the tax laws.

There is a way around this. Check out these two sites:

http://skimlinks.com

http://viglinks.com

These two sites allow you to become an affiliate's affiliate. In other words, they have the Amazon account, but you get to promote Amazon products using their account. They in turn, share part of the proceeds with you. You get smaller commissions, but you still get to promote Amazon products on your site.

After all, oatmeal is better than no meal, right?

LOL. When you put it like that.... I agree. Thanks for the links. I will check them out.
