Hi I found by right clicking on the video it self then clicking embed html it come up with the link and the size of the video and here you can change the size, copy and paste into the page.
Nice. Think you answered your own question, and found I can resize before the embedding. Guess the horse and cart phrase can be applied here. LOL.

You need to select the EMBED link of the YouTube video you want. Then copy-and-paste it into the Text tab of the editor window NOT the Visual one. The video will not display unless the Post or Page is published, ie. it won't show in Draft mode. Rich.
Thanks @Rich, good man, you have helped me on more than one occasion, very much appreciated, thank you.

I have found that re-sizing images on wordpress is not a problem, the problem lies with reshaping eg; if you have a square image and you want to make it smaller that is not a probl
I suppose if you don't ask you will never know, sometimes these thing are right under our noses and we miss it but I ask the question just in case there is a better way
OK @Rich, how about this one to flex your brain a bit more, how can I get text to start in the rite place under the image, every time I try it it starts about one third of the way in from the left of the image and doesn't look rite, it seems you are man for the job.
@Rich has given me the solution, good man, three cheers for this guy and drinks on me ha ha ha
As I said before, when you use the *Add Media* button to add an image from your Media Library into a WordPress Page or Post make sure you bring it in at full size NOT as a thumbnail by selecting full size in *Attachment Display Settings*. See this example: http://d.pr/i/iqOu If you want to change the core settings for other sizes, go to Settings > Media. You can also edit, scale and crop an image you've uploaded to the Media tab. Just click on it and hit the *Edit Image* button. Rich.

OK after further investigation I have discovered that what ever you do on your pages with images they will always come out square even though you may have a differant size that you
Timing...just got other info on wp. Go to settings to get to media panel (wp-admin/options-media.php) to change the default sizes.
Phew, now I think I got all my ducks in a row for images. Time to start planting. ;))
Yep thats the way to do it, but you cannot reshape images either to put onto WP or dooing it on WP, square is the rule here.
Hello all. Been up to my eyeballs in images, sizes and how to put them in the sidebar. Had a difficult time getting the ones I have in my profile. First of all a square has equal sides - believe me was told that - lol.
Solution : http://www.shrinkpictures.com
First you have to know what wp sizes are (thank you @Rich) then size the picture you want odd size or whatever. Then load the image.
Hope that helps. Being a non-techy, kinda need more info in a language I understand.
Also how to load up on website

Thanks Rich, I have manged to sort that bit now, what it will not alow me to do is make the image the size I want eg; 150 x 70 for example, what ever I do it will always come out as square not oblong, strange but there we go, I have not tried HTML as yet I will do that later it's getting late now here in Cyprus.
When you insert an image into a Post or Page make sure you select the correct size http://d.pr/i/FEZg Rich.

"HOW" do I line up my media images side by side with the same spacing and keeping the images the same size and putting text underneath each image respectively. What I have tried fo
Hi! I was just trying to figure this out as well. Under the editor we we enter text, it also reads HTML coding. So by google searching "HTML CODE Align Images" I found this useful tutorial.
http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/images/_IMG_ALIGN.html
So I'm guessing after each image, you have to "float left" so they lay side by side. But that's assuming your images are the right size. Even if they arent, you can CHANGE the size of the image by inserting more HTML Code
eg. http://www.bignosebird.com/docs/h11.shtml
This might be a slow way to do it - maybe there are better (premium) templates with more functionality out there rather than typing in html code for each picture.
I'm just a beginner too, but found this to be more straightforward (and we I learnt basic HTML in high school)
I don't have the answer to your question, but I'm having the same issue on my blog page. I want to watch the responses and learn from your answers. Sorry I couldn't help today.

Not sure, but have just decreased it like any window or image to make it smaller, manually.
