The lesson from my leaking tap
I GOT SOME MOTIVATION FROM THIS AND I FELT LIKE SHARING WITH YOU
The tap in my bathroom just seems to have a mechanical problem that I cannot fix. I will need a plumber soon. I open and it jets out water very well. However when I close, however much tigh rotate the valve, it still lets down like 1 drop in every minute.
1 DROP PER MINUTE IS VERY MINOR. IGNORE THAT BOSCO
Yah! so I thought this rate of dripping is very minor and I left for my work. However whenever I came back in the evenings, I would find my birthroom floor wet - looking a bit messy with an irritating look.
EUREKA, I'VE GOT SOLUTION, I WILL PUT A BUCKET TO COLLECT THESE MINOR DROPS
After I was satisfied that I never wanted to look at the wet floor again, hurrah! I got asolution!! There is this 20 litre bucket that I rarely use and I felt it is going to bail me out. I put it just under the tap to collect those small drops of water so they could not drop directly onto the floor. YEEY! PROBLEM FIXED.
MY DRY TWO DAYS
So for two days, I enjoyed a dry bathroom floor. Whenever I could come back from work, I could find the place just the way I want it. Yah thats nice.
SORRY MR. BOSCO. PROBLEM NOT SOLVED
To my surprise today morning I found the bucket full. The excess of the water was dropping off from the full volume and accessing my floor again. The place looked messy as it had been in the beginning.One small drop at a time was enough to fill the bucket, till there was a spill.
SMALL CONSISTENT EFFORTS WILL TAKE US THERE
I just got something to learn that once we are consistent and we dont give up, we shall reach our goals - we shall fill our buckets. Sometimes we may seem like we are going no where despite the effort that we are injecting in our presence here. The lessons to learn, the money and the time we invest and the hard work to write website content. However, each small step is leading us to that desired destination - OUR SUCCESS.
And just whenever we want to give up, let us remember those little drops. - that they filled a large bucket, till there was a spill.
