My Inspiration Jar
We all get writers block on our content for our sites and sometimes you just draw a blank. I do, we all do from time to time. I am fortunate enough to have a very intelligent, precocious 14 yr old daughter that has more to write about on social media in an hour than I can come up with in a week but she did have a great idea,
We started the "Blessings Jar" on the first of the year and we wright a one word sentence about what we are thankful for everyday and place it in the jar. When I get writers block she said... go grab something out of the jar and write about that.
I knew what I had written for the jar but I hadn't read what she and my husband had written and what I found each day I drew a piece of paper almost brought me to tears.
I am so blessed to have such a faithful and beautiful family full of gracious hearts and open minds and some seriously wicked sense of humor!!
So the jar has me with more content than I can even post in a day it is so good and such a great way to connect with your family if you start one. Insight is a good thing, even if you don't write about it...

What a wonderful idea, it sounds like you do indeed have an incredible family. God bless you. Sharon
Sharon you wouldn't believe it... we had 3 foals in 40 minutes last night :O I have been up since 2 am LOL. It's the craziest season yet and I am SOOOO tired... but I LOVE those babies!
The blessings jar is nice to open at the end of the year too. Reading all the blessings that you forgot about brings a lot of joy.
It's wonderful to read your blog. You have expressed many things within one small writing. My best wishes for you and family.
Thank you for that. It's a blessing to have such a wonderful close knit family. They certainly keep my going.
They are doing great.. we had 3 in an hour last night, been up since 2am but all the foals and mommas are doing great. :) Hope you are doing well.
