Is Dandelion Tea Right For You?
I came across this herbal tea in the Health Food Store recently and didsome reseach on the benefits to our bodies.
It generally helps to cleans the body, aid in digestion and when used inyour detox program detoxes the liver.
Now we know at this time of the year alcohol consumption is increased, so why not help our bodies to heal by taking a couple of cups of dandelion tea during the day.
If you are trying to loose weight then this tea may also help as it acts as a diaretic, reducing water retention. It also increases urine production and can have a gentle laxative result.
The whole of the plant can be eaten. Chopped up raw in your salad, the flower shredded and added too. It has a bitter taste so don't overdo it.
The many health benefits are:-
Balances blood sugar so is good for the treatment of candida.
Breaks down fats
Reduces blood pressure
Healthy metabolism
Aids cardiovascular health
Sharpens brain function
Contains Vit K which mineralizes the bones, better than calcium
Soothes Joint & muscle pain
Soothes an upset stomach, & aids digestion
Is a blood tonic
Treats eczema
It is now thought to reduce the risk of cancer. Studies are being done to see if this a fact.
So my gentle friends, hope this report inspires you and help keep you healthy & happy.
