Do Small Things in a Great Way

Napolean Hill once said, "If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way".

Having recently discovered this quote, I have realized how well it applies to Wealthy Affiliate.

The network within Wealthy Affiliate is made up of individuals who contribute to an overall community. Within this community, the majority of us have the common goal of developing a successful online business.

The ranking system in WA helps us realize our true potential. Recently I have been commenting on as many people's posts as I can in order to help them out. Each individual post is small, and takes less than 5 minutes to write. Although the contributions are small, by making many of them and helping all sorts of people, I am making an overall bigger impact. The ranking system helps us to realize how much of an impact we are making and it feels so good to rise through the ranks!

My particular niche focuses specifically on people with smoking addictions. This website will not solve world peace, nor world hunger, nor create a cure for cancer, but this website will help people with this one severe problem. I am not the next Andrew Carnegie, and I'm definitely no Steve Jobs, but I know that I can do something great for the people I care about.

Consider your niche as a small piece of a large picture. I truly believe that you CAN do small things in a GREAT way. It is enlightening to know I am giving to the world community, regardless of how small the impact may be. My site may not rid the world of all smokers, but it can definitely help those who happen upon it.

May all the greatness be found in your site, no matter how small it's contributions compare to other things.
