How do I change the title of my site in the tab?

That's interesting, if I changed it to something else would that change the header title on the page, but the domain would still remain the same...I am a bit confused with this new information. How would that affect my ranking, or visitors that may have my site book marked..etc... Lol. :))
Thanks, JR, but when I go there, it says what I want it to say, which is: Beer Makers and Lovers. If you go to my site, beermakersandlovers.com, look at the tab above the address and it says: Beer Growlers - One Stop Shop. Any other ideas?
Thanks for the quick reply! John
Your site title and the site url are two different things, Those who have the site bookmarked will still find it if you change the title ans it should not affect ranking
Also, check the site title you have in the all in one seo plug in if you are using that as it will override the settings page
Okay, then what purpose does it serve to change it? Where would it be useful, just curious I wish I would have actually named my whole site TechVibz.com....its available, but not sure how that would affect things, right now according to Google I am on page 2.1. Was concerned to do a change like that. Thanks for your feedback.
The tab up on the a dress bar was saying one name and the site was saying another name, he wanted them both the same.
I have that going on for a page, I changed the name of the page but the tab still shows the old name for the page. Can that be changed as well?
yes, for that you need to change the meta tag. You will find that under the title of the page. Put the page in the edit mode f and you will see it there.
Everything was changed except the slug, all good now...Thanks again. Happy happy joy joy...Lol!
