So I started with WA last April and to be honest I struggled and muddled through levels one and two. I had no online experience whatsoever.. then in June we went on vacation. I had started writing a book to my daughter, I couldn’t do both so I dropped out of WA for a few months, my book just went to print - all 3 copies! What a wonderful world we live in that we can print just three copies of a book!! But you know I find I have more confidence writing now and less trepidation about posting and asking questions...

Happy to be back!!

Hi Fiona, it's great that you were able to step back and focus on your book.

Congratulations! I had no idea that you can publish a small amount of books. It's nice that you have more confidence in writing now, this will help with your content here :)

That's awesome to hear. Sometimes focusing on a skill in another area can build our confidence to try again!

I'm impressed wit your book. Heavy on my to do list starting with e version!

I used Blurb and the nice thing is that you can print small amounts.!
3 hard backed books with 100 pages, color and 50% pictures was $100.
I’ll definitely do another one.
Paperback is way cheaper of course.

Blurb is another one on my back burner Fiona!

Congratulations on writing a book - 3 copies many more than most people ever get so well done on fulfilling a goal there. Glad to meet you here at WA - maybe you could have a niche about self-publishing! All the best.

You know that’s not a bad idea because there was a huge learning curve and a lot of pitfalls that could be avoided

I'd be interested in that for one!

I’ll let you know if/when I do that.. first I have to figure out the basics of my original site
