Here I am again.

It's a cold Saturday night and all my cats are curious about what mommy has been doing since 9 a.m.

Friends have called and invited me out for a drink but I'm stuck here trying to write keyword-rich content and pursue my dream.

I bet a lot of you non-native English speakers and writers (!) ask yourself the same question as me: is everything I'm saying-writing grammatically correct and syntactically accepted? My mother tongue is Greek and I'm more fluent in Italian but English is the so-called international language so I have to write in English, don't I?

I've just finished a more-than-1200 word post and I'm thrilled and tired at the same time. I fell like I've climbed Mount Olympus barefooted. I really hope ambrosia and nectar will be offered to me by the Gods at the end of this race.

I am glad we are companions in this race, ready to give a hand one to another, helping, advising, explaining, "coaching"-is it the right term?. So far I haven't helped a lot, I'm not an expert.

But as the journey continues and I learn everyday, I hope there will be a day that I will be able to give a hand to others.

And that is a promise !

Hi, Effie! I felt the same way, since I'm not a native English speaker either, but it makes it more interesting. I love your metaphors, I'm a big fan of Greek mythology. Thanks for sharing :)

If this blog post is any indication your writing is better than most. Your experience is very valuable and inspirational and as such it should be shared. Clearly you are the expert at being you and that's what we want most to see shared - our own individual journey because somehow we all relate to it. Thank you for sharing.

I really appreciate your kind words Kundi.
I wish you all the best !

Effie

Top of the range, Effie, even English, as a first language folks, can struggle.

When it comes to writing we are all a crew on the same boat.

It is practice, that makes the difference.

Best wishes as you explore your creative side, you are going well.
Alex

I wish it were true Alex. I'm an unstoppable river of words both in Greek and Italian , in English I'm a slow stream. But your encouraging words give me the guts to carry on :-)
Thank you so much!!

You can do it, remember your journey your rules, look forward to hearing about your successes.

Funny. NO coconuts at the grocer yesterday, so no ambosia for Mark today. Sad.

I LOVE THIS, -creative

It's my culture that dictates my words. :-)
Thank you my friend you are very kind

Hi Effie, thank you for sharing those inspirational words, yes we all have experienced much the same as you at the get-go. I think your English is very good so don't stress about it. Well done on writing a big part of your book to financial freedom.

Your words give me strength to carry on.
Thanks a lot Shaun !
