How to Decrease Your Bounce Rate

We are all committed to reducing our bounce rate but sometimes it feels like an unending battle.

How Do You Keep People on Your Site for Longer?

The answer to this is to provide them with content they haven't seen before. How is this done? We know they most likely won't go fishing through your site for what to read. So, what to do?

Put the Posts Up Front and Centre

How do you get your other points seen. There are two ways and I use both.

1. Put contextually related posts at the bottom. This plugin will put the 6 most relevant posts and their thumbnails at the bottom of your posts.

2. Put your most popular posts on the side widget. You'll have to play around with this one and choose the one you like the most. I chose one that will put however many thumbnails with their titles on the side widget. I chose to put 6 there.

Does it Look Cluttered?

Using these methods will put the most useful thumbnails all around your posts. They aren't "in your face" and look quite nice. However, they provide eye-catching content right out there where your viewers will see them and might click on them. This will keep them on your site for longer.
