Journey So Far #8

So, I have been quiet for some time but I have been working hard. I still work full time as a pharmacist so I have to squeeze in time before and after work. I wake up in the morning with possible keywords floating through my head or something I should do to one of my websites. Occasionally I dream that I was working on my website. I guess these are "side effects" of affiliate marketing and may resolve with time.

So I completed my first website and was very pleased with it but I have to be careful that there is no conflict with my job. Mostly informative and educational articles that teach the safe and responsible use of medication. I wrote a few articles on diet and exercise and I also created a free video teaching how to set up a medication profile where you can check drug interactions against your other medications, health conditions and allergies. Mostly free stuff.

My next step was to try to promote WA and it so happened that I was accepted into the Supper affiliate challenge and I intend to work hard on that too.

I have gathered from various training that it is good to find an affiliate program that pays good commissions and I found one promoting Physical Gold IRA accounts. They are a bit picky about who they choose as affiliates but I found that it helps if you have a website with at least one article on gold and "gold IRA" in the domain name. I created a free siterubix website for the purpose since there was no guarantee that I would be accepted. I got accepted so I will change to a .com domain. (They also have a referral program)

Now I have 3 websites to promote. (it can be overwhelming) and I have created business cards and I am heading to the mall tomorrow (Saturday) by the grace of God to do "old school" marketing. I have read success stories on WA and no 2 stories are the same. So I want to try something different too.
