HOW do you find your tribe both online and in the REAL World?

I'm new to Orlando, Fl - having recently moved here from VeniceBeach, Ca. I find it most challenging and even exciting to find my way. What I know to be true is that We all want clients, customers and to find our community, i.e. our tribe.

Finding clients starts with building a tribe of raving fans, i.e. friends, associates and colleagues.

When you have a community that’s unique to you, looks to you as the expert, and wants to spend more time with you, you’ll never have to go very far to find new clients. They’ll be right there - inside of your tribe.

1.) Be seen - consistently

In order to actually build a community... you need to get out and be seen! I used to be the worst at this. Living in LA; I had far too many options and opportunities. It was exhausting. Here in Orlando - I am finding that it's imperative to go to networking events, seminars, conferences, retreats - any place I can to be seen - and use these events to to add to my tribe . For this of who who are looking for clients, customers and to even make social connections - it's also imperative to use online strategies like Facebook Live, Periscope, Snapchat, instagram, twitter, various email marketing tools (Newsletters), and webinars to stay in front of our audience and nurture them when we're not in person with them!)

Most important tip - Show up and Be CONSISTENT! Consistently showing up at events in your industry and in the online space will build trust. Trust is THE key element to building your tribe.

2.) How are you creating Value

Value is not defined by simply handing out a business car or retrieving a business card. It's also more than leaving a stranger feeling good or inspired. You want to give them the type of value that leaves them in action and able to produce a result, even if it's a small one.

I believe it's important to listen, engage and be sincerely interested to see if there is a service/product/message you can provide and vice-versa. We live in a space of abundance and NOT lack. If the person you're having a conversation doesn't need what you have to offer, at the time, there could be someone in their tribe that is ready for your offering.

3.) Create and be open to having a reason to "Follow up" And/Or "A Call To Action"

This is where people miss the boat. Let US not be one of those persons.

An Example of a "Call To Action" (“come see me at the break out session and I’ll offer you a free strategy/coaching/massage/training, consulting session!” or hand them your calling card “check out my website to download my FREE or my special $1 E-Book, information sheet download”). Now that you have THEIR business card, telephone number, email address or web address - you can follow up.

More and more of us are doing business online, via FaceTime skype, etc. That's HOW ALL of us here on WA will be making either a full-time or part-time living; so don't be afraid to make real authentic and genuine connection with people.
