Email Marketing

Hello,

I received an e-mail to support@smearz.com. When I attempted to reply I get an "Authentication Failed" error message. What does it mean and what do I do about it?

Hi Scott,
It could mean several things like something misspelled or their server is not authenticating your email.
It's frustrating, I know. Is there another email you can use? Or maybe a phone number to ask if their system is down or broken?

No. The email is not that important. It just has me concerned because, when I engage with prospects, this won't be good!

Is your SSL certificate turned on?

I don't know. How do I turn it on?

Down the left-hand side, click Websites, then website manager, then details. There, make sure your SSL certificate is ON.
Cheers

Simple URLs or Pretty Links? I am trying to decide which to go with.

I expect my site will have a HUGE number of links I need to track. For example here is my first post

Hey Scott,

Personally, I prefer Pretty Link but in Google searching "Simple URLs or Pretty Links" (without the quotation marks, of course) I could find nothing offered about Simple URLs, so for me... this makes me feel even more comfortable continuing to use Pretty Link.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks, Trish!

I already started using Pretty and love it. In Jay's video on the 2, Simple URLs crashed. Then looking in reviews Simple URLs has 2 bad reviews stating in June that the program no longer works after newest version came out.

That was enough for me! Pretty it is!

Hello,

I'm watching the following video:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/hello-all-in-one-seo/play

At 30:40 he directs how to use google.com/webmaster

I guess Feigner already has you covered.

I was gonna type a long reply but feigner's training will show you what to do

sorry Dave - but saved your fingers- lol

lol - I'll just go and be helpful somewhere else :-)

Scott, as you say google has changed a bit since then, so i did a new training on google verification
a lot of others have used it and found it easy.
good luck
phil

Thanks! All the best!

He does say to paste it in Google Webmaster Tools, which is under Google Verification. But in the actual back office, Google Verification only has the box called "Google Search Console".

Is that where I am to paste it?

Hello,

Why does my image show so small? I created it a little more than twice that size. I can't enlarge as that would cause pixilation and blurriness.

Scott Mil

Hey Scott,

If you are referring to the image in your header, what size of an image is your theme suggesting be use?

Seems whatever you have done has skewed your entire header. Notice your theme is NOT responsive thus it will not be device-friendly.

Hey Triblu, I am speaking of the Frankincense image within the post.

Thanks Trish! I am speaking of the Frankincense Image in the post.

Okay... try adding your image again.

This time, when adding your image, scroll DOWN the Add Media popup window, click the down arrow for the drop down list for Size and be sure to select Full Size - 541 x 26 and then click the Insert Into Post button and that should resolve that issue.

Thanks Trish!
