First Month's Progress

I started my affiliate marketing journey a little less than a month ago, here at Wealthy Affiliate. While I am not making any commisions yet, I am still learning many things from the trainings and from my peers here who are willing to give back.

My progress up to this point has been slow and steady. I am getting the hang of how a blog works and have currently posted 4 blogs on my website, two of which have been ranked on Google, which is exciting! My niche is self-improvement so I've been writing about mindset and mental health for now.

I'm excited to continue blogging and I find that I have an easier time doing so when I write about things I like. Some of things that I am struggling with a bit is figuring out what to write about. I have heard a couple people mention that having a 30 day plan on what will be blogged is helpful, which I have started, but I'm struggling to find more things to write about without becoming very repetitive. If there are any tips on how to get more ideas or how to avoid sounding repetitive or writing about topics that are closely related, I would really appreciate it.

In the next couple months, I hope to have 40 blogs on my website and begin to look into affilaite programs, with a lot of those blogs ranking on Google. If there any suggestions on where to start with affilaite programs or what programs resonate with a self-improvement niche, please feel free to let me know.

In the months following that, I would like to start making commision and seeing the potential of this business model. I am also interested in using some of the content on my website for pinterest and trying out that business model as well. As always, suggestions and comments are so welcome.

I'm really excited to see the next year will look like for me. I'll keep you all posted on my progress as time goes on.
