First blog, first assessment, first reassessment

First Blog

This is my first blog and I am just following the training in Course 4, lesson 7. Do not know exactly what to say or write. A lot of the other blog posts I have read have been really good and usually helpful to readers so I am not sure if I can offer any of those points. I guess I will take the time to give my first thoughts on where I have come since I have started and where I plan to go from here.

First Assessment

There have been some things that I am pretty proud about but then there are some things that I wish were moving faster. Things I enjoy about my progress right now is that my site has been able to conquer all of the lessons so far. I have plenty of content. I have affiliate links in my posts. I have plenty of images, videos and gifs as well. I also just got accepted by google ad-sense which is pretty neat. My site in my eyes is definitely looking professional and something that I can be proud of and I have only been doing this for 3 and a half weeks. Can not wait to see where this thing is in the next 3 and a half weeks now that I know pretty much all of the training.

First Reassessment

This feels like I am doing a product review rating with me grading my own site. I would have to grade my progress so far a 7/10. I do wish that I had somebody who lives by me who has done this before so I could zip through some of the questions I have had going through the training. Sometimes I spend around 5 hours on one little thing that could have been taken care of in less then 30 minutes. The wait and respond game is never fun to play online. My next thing to improve on is making my site more cool. All of the websites that are capturing a lot of traffic these days are because they are fun to visit. I want to turn my attention now to making my site more interactive, more instant information and better quality content that is engaging and captivating.
