My progress so far at Wealthy Affiliate

I joined Wealthy Affiliate in Mid December of last year and its been been a bumpy but exhilarating ride so far. I was with the free membership for about two weeks, then became a premium member. For about a six weeks I didn't do much as I was preoccupied with other stuff that was a real distraction. However decided to get back on track, starting from scratch with the classrooms. I am now at the level of mastering social engagement level 4, and I must say that it has been a challenge. I was never really much into social media although i have had a face book account. Nevertheless I am astounded at what I have learnt so far about Pinerest, Google +, and Twitter. I am proud of what I can do with Word press. I kept hearing that Word press was easy to use, but when you are a novice it can seem like a mountain to climb when you get stuck. Thanks to WA I now have self belief that I can create content and do it well.

I know very little at this point about email marketing but I will not get ahead of myself as I realize that it is best to have a firm grounding in the basics in order to be effective. What I have learnt so far about keyword research, affiliate programs, affiliate marketing, website development, content creation, customer, psychology was worth the effort. I have not set my self a financial target to gauge my success as yet but my immediate goal for the next two months is to Increase the organic traffic to my website at least 20 fold. As Kyle has emphasized 'targeted' traffic is what drives sales.
