How Important Is Momentum?

I have been away for the most part of April as I was in Europe taking a break. During this time I hardly checked my email, let alone get some work done! While my time in the beautiful city of Madrid was nothing short of incredible, something just didn't feel right. And no it wasn't the weather (it was pouring)!

What was happening is I was slowly losing momentum and coming to a rapid halt. All the positive habits I had worked so hard to build previously (reading 10 pages a day, my daily affirmations, and making healthy food choices) were all slipping into oblivion!

At the present time I tried to ignore it and enjoy what I felt was a deserved vacation. Exploring Madrid was truly fascinating. From the Royal Palace, to the Botanical Gardens, to watching Real Madrid live at the Bernabeu. But something still wasn't right!

It was on the plane back home when I felt my stomach churn upon thinking of all the emails, all the chores, and everything else I needed to do. The very thought of writing another review or blog post made me a little queasy! Fast forward to a week later and I do feel quite a bit better. I am slowly starting to get back into the groove of things and getting back to where I was previously. Without dragging this post any longer, what's the lesson I learnt? DON'T LOSE MOMENTUM! Think of the effort required in pushing a static car Vs. pushing a car that has some momentum already....which is easier?

In the end, I am happy to be back and looking forward to some exciting months ahead! Cheers!
