Here's my advice to you to help you achieve results that you want.

Step 1: Pick a business to start.

I don't care what it is, but pick something you like the idea of building or see value in building.

Step 2- Ignore everything else.

This is where most people fail.

They get started, but when they haven't made a million dollars after a few weeks, they look for something else that appears easier or something that looks like it will work.

I believe people buy out of emotion and that makes them feel better for the time being.

So when it's time to actually do the work, they get distracted because they see something else that looks easier.

The only business that will work for you is the one you DECIDE to work for you.

Step 3- Don't follow every marketer you come across.

I made this mistake when I started following many entrepreneurs.

Naturally, they all had their own unique way of doing things or had a completely different business model.

Talk about massive information over load.

Now I follow a select few and the ones I do follow always give value every day.

After following these people I realized that I had a lot in common with them.

To serve my customers at the highest level and help solve their problems.

Step 4- Work like this year is your last.

People get into this business today and want the two-hour work week tomorrow, but it just won't happen without lots of work in the beginning.

You work hard at your day job, but when you start your own business, you need to work harder for yourself.

Realize you're the only person who can hustle every day and make your dreams happen.

Step 5- Have complete belief in your abilities.

You will never have a 100% game proof plan.

You just have to get started and when you mess things up, fix them.

Sometimes you mess up and it will happen, just do whatever it takes to make it right.

You’re human, mistakes will happen.

Stop worrying and doubting yourself and forget about the what if's.

The what if's cause a lot of people to give up on their dreams.

Successful people move aggressively and they figure out how to fix things as they go.

When I make a decision I act immediately.

Not just in business, but in all aspects of my life, even personal.

Make decisions and take action before you talk yourself out of it (you know you do this) and never get started.

If you want 2019 to be amazing, you should be working like everything you do will pay off in the long term.

  • Question: But what if I do this and it doesn't work?
  • Answer: It's going to work and you better start believing it or you're wasting your time.

Step 6- Drop the employee mindset.

When you work at your day job, you put in 40 hours and get paid 40 hours.

But with your online efforts, you might put in 40 hours of work this week, but guess what, that doesn't mean you'll get 40 hours of pay for it.

In the beginning, you need to hustle like there's no tomorrow and later you get paid back for your hours of work.

Does it feel like all you're doing is wasting time or what you're doing is not working?

That's an employee mindset, do something once and get paid regardless of the outcome.

As a sole proprietor you've got to hustle.

Quit thinking "why am I not making any money for the work I put in" and "why am I not rich yet", because you will remain broke.

Put your passion and drive into everything you do and show people you enjoy what you're doing.

Step 7- Share the nightmare.

When people pretend they're successful by promoting the latest shiny object, it's very obvious to me at least, they're only in it to get a quick buck.

And if I can see it, so can you.

Good content isn't enough anymore.

You must create your content with passion, your message must have passion in it, and your vision must be filled with passion when helping others.

When you're passionate about building your business, people will actually start wanting to work with you.

Imagine when someone talks to you and you tell them you're taking this to the top, you can either join me or watch me do it".

See how powerful that is?

Someone who is NOT committed would never say something like that.

Step 7- Stand for something or fall for everything.

There are plenty of people who talk like everyone wants them ( no F bombs) to talk, act the way society thinks is appropriate and then they try to be something they're not.

Ask me how I know?

I used to be a manager at Kenco Logistics and I was their go-to guy who bent over backwards and when they asked me to jump I replied with "how high”.

I'm not saying you need to start saying "F**k", or get "eat s**t and die" tattooed on your arm.

However what I am saying is that you have to be yourself and stand for something and not try to be like (insert a marketer you like here).

There never can be another "YOU" ever!!!

There's only one you and you have to realize you're a brand.

The product or the network marketing company you're involved with doesn't matter.

People are buying YOU.

So start focusing on your brand equity every day.

Step 8- Give A Massive Amount Of Value.

Just selling someone a biz opp or info product is not going to cut it for you or me.

When you care about your customers, have a deep desire to help them solve their problems and reach their goals and give them a great experience every time they come across you.

People are smart and they only want to do business with people they know, like and trust.

If you don't offer value and insist on pitching products all of the time, realize that one day down the road when that doesn't work, what will you do?

You start building up trust and adding tons of value on every platform you're marketing on.

When your content does all of the pre selling for you, it'll be an easy sale.

Step 9- Have Fun

Simple I know right?

Most people hate this business because they're only looking at it to make money.

Sound like you? Then quit reading this, cancel your account and stay at your job you hate.

Start learning to love what you do and enjoy the process while on the road to success.

I'm a marketer when I'm with my family, I'm a marketer at work and I'm a marketer right now.

Do I disconnect and have family time, of course. I love this business and I enjoy every minute of growing both financially as well as helping others.

The more fun you have the more easier it becomes. I promise.

People that don't ADD to your success will always bring you down, consciously or unconsciously. Don't let that happen!
