This recent post from Art of Manliness gives some great tips on building and growing a business learned from the show Shark Tank. I'll post the 9 Lessons below, but I recommend reading the entire post.

1. Learn how to pitch.
2. Hustle is necessary, but not sufficient.
3. Don't be blinded by passion.
4. Just because your friends and family love your idea, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
5. Know your business.
6. Concentrate on your core competency.
7. The best businesses solve real problems.
8. If you're not making money, it's just a hobby.
9. Not every business needs investors.
