Hello, Ester here.

I am writing this as a response to all the people who are saying they want to commit as many hours as it will take to make this 'thing' work out. I am finding a lot of people say this. I hear you! We want to put in as many hours as is necessary. We are committed to our success! That is so great! It is just that sort of commitment we all need to do this thing! But let me slow things down for just a moment.

The thing is, there is a reason for actually stating your goal in a definite number in your goals page. In the book "7 habits of highly Effective People," it is stated that people who succeed do so because they set goals that help them align with their "true north." Meaning you make a goal, a target, which you can then devise a definite plan to reach for so you don't loose your way.

I personally hate setting goals, and after years of my own failures and burnouts, my brother, a very successful state worker, started telling me, "If you don't have a plan then you plan to fail."

We are all here to succeed! This is why I recommend making sure you have stated the number of hours you truly want to commit to yourself. I am sure you want to put in as much hours as can fit in your schedule. Maybe that is 40 hours a week? 50 hours? or maybe only 20. Have fun. Choose a definite number into your goals as a working commitment to yourself and your business. Be sure to keep it realistic to what you are capable of doing.

Your plan should be to work steady and keep moving forward at a comfortable but energized pace. Of Course, don't over do it. That just leads to burnout. If you set a time goal and plan out a good schedule for you that organizes your day according to your website's needs, then I am certain before you know it your path will be one that steadily moves you toward success.
