How Do I sell Websites I've made?

I have started a website that i will make websites for people/business' etc. I am now faced with the task of deciding how to actually get the web site in the persons name instead of my name. I want it all in their name instead of me taking monthly hosting payments then paying the hosting company because what if i cannot for some weird reason make the payment on their behalf to the hosting company? They would lose their website and it would be my fault :(. I know I can just make the site, pay for the domain and hosting, then use a broker site to sell them the website, but that just seems very unprofessional. does anyone have any ideas onhow to make this a smoother and more professional process for the customer? Or perhaps is their a way to forward their payment through me right to the hosting company?

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you all!

You can sell and tranfer the domain name to your client. You can tranferbthe website to a hosting company of your clients choice, like hostgator.com, bluehost.com, https://wphosting.club or whatever he wishes.
For the design and the installation you bill a fee of your choice.

also another good option. thank you :)

Tell them to sort hosting themselves, give them your affiliate link ;), then once they are net up, build the site on the hosting for them.

that sounds like a very good idea. affiliate link for WA? thank you :)

I meant the hosting company, but WA works too

ah i see. so there are in fact hosting companies that will provide affiliate links? (ya, WA might discourage them from a purchase)
