It is better to publish your content in your blog even if your dont have an audience yet or publish it as a guest post?
Publish all your content related to your website's topic on your own website. This is partly to build authority. (Other reasons are such as gain traffic so that you eventually hv people you can convert to customers)
As you create more and more content, you are seen as the expert on that particular topic. By extension, search engines see your website as relevant to a searcher's query.
Guest blogging is considered when you have gain some authority. The guest blog should also have a back link to your website. This will be good for SEO and will help your website climb up search rankings to 1st Page.
Your blog first. You want to build up your blog as yourself, not a guest blogger. This may then help you get picked as a guest blogger for other blogs looking for that - but they will want to see your blog first.
