Every aspect of your site doesn't have to be perfect.
It's the truth.

We all take pride in our work, but at the same time you gotta get content out there. Google can’t rank a post that isn’t published. An article that’s live is a million times more valuable than a masterpiece that doesn't exist.

Get your reps in. The content I created when I first got started way back in the ancient times when we had to actually write our own content was nowhere near perfection. If I were to jump in a time machine and go back and re-read my stuff I'd probably cringe. I'm sure it was way over the top and salesy, but it took every single rep I was putting in to find the voice and rhythm that finally worked for me.

If I had held off and tried to perfect every single article I'd have never gotten the momentum I needed.

And as we get better and better at creating content we start to find that rhythm we're looking for. Don't worry if your content sputters a little bit out of the gate. Get your reps in. Hit publish. Stop worrying about the secondary accent color or the font of your CTA and move on to the next article.

Never hold yourself back from getting your site and/or your content out there. Don't reset your authority clock!

Once you find your rhythm (which only comes from pushing out content consistently), it becomes much easier to adjust your course as needed. If a post doesn't perform exactly how you wanted, you haven't failed, you're just making progress.

You now know more than you did yesterday because you had the guts to put your work out there.
So push out that content and find your momentum.
