Might Be My Fave Photos From Work in 23 years
When you first get into the fire dept, you normally don't count any fire you go to as your "first fire" unless you were first-in and it was a working structure fire, meaning it's blowing and going, you're first on scene, and you put it out.
That being said, I'm totally counting this SWAT call from a couple shifts ago as my first fire as a captain. Not a full blown structure fire, but with PD on scene with guns drawn, the suspect in the yard with a gun to his head after leading them on a high speed chase all through the city, drones in the air, now having set his car on fire and the neighboring fence and house starting to catch, all just before the sun came up, these photos look like they're straight out of a movie.
And me in the hero pose directing my tailboard where to direct the stream like I had planned the shot 💯 So lucky to have these shots from my first fire call as a captain!
Framing these for sure! 🔥

That would give you an andrelin rush for sure Eric!!
And it looks like you are wielding a light saber there whilst kneeling down!! :-)
Impressive, what a first call as a captain. Might as well start off with the most epic one yet! Definitely some framers there.
I told my tailboard he's never going to have a car fire like this, ever. Looking over that wall of cops I could see multiple laser sights on the dude's face and chest as he waved his gun around. Crazy call.

Hi Eric,
I had no idea you were a fireman and a Captain at that! What a cool profession you are in and thank you for your service to your community.
When I see Firemen in a store getting a snack while doing whatever they are doing, I always tell them thank you. It is not an easy profession you are in I am sure.
And all this time I just thought you were a lonely affiliate marketer...LOL.
I have two other businesses (that actually make money...still trying with this one) and you never know what our people here at WA have in their lives besides WA.
I appreciate you sharing this with us!
Thank you,
Mike
